The Redondo Pier Association holds a free yoga class on the pier on the second Saturday of every month, hosted by Cancer Support Community South Bay. October’s is on Saturday, October 10, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Fisherman’s Wharf toward the west end of the pier.

It is an all-levels class led by local instructors, open to the public with no registration: just turn up with a mat, a towel and water. The pier rules apply on the deck, so no pets, bikes, skateboards, smoking or alcohol.

The class is weather permitting, and the organizer warns that a cancelled session is not rescheduled, so check the pier’s page or its Instagram, @redondopier, on the morning if the sky looks doubtful. The nearest parking is the pier’s North and South public lots, paid by the hour, with metered street parking on Catalina Avenue and North Harbor Drive.

MyLAyoga does not run this event and takes no booking. The link goes straight to the organizer.
