About the retreat
Remi and Jess first connected at Sweat Yoga in West Hollywood and quickly became friends over a shared passion for yoga, health and wellness. Both had uprooted their lives from the East Coast to chase a dream in Los Angeles, and that leap of faith is the spirit of this retreat: embracing expansion and growth, from coast to coast and now internationally, for the second year running.
Mizata by Antiresort sits on a wild stretch of El Salvador's Pacific coast, where jungle cliffs meet black volcanic sand. Choose your sanctuary, from jungle and beachfront bungalows to treehouses set twelve feet above the beach, then let the days unfold: energizing morning practice, restorative evenings with sound baths, three nourishing meals shared as a community, and plenty of free time to find your bliss by the water.

Remi
Yoga teacher, Los Angeles
Originally from New York, where she found her passion for yoga. As her practice and understanding of self deepened, Remi felt called to move to LA and share her path to healing through movement. She believes every individual can find their purpose by shifting conscious awareness to breath and surrendering to their inner voice. Off the mat: slow mornings, deep conversations, nature and music. She will forever be chasing the sun.
Jess
Yoga teacher & dancer, Los Angeles
A dancer since childhood, physical expression has always been how Jess disconnects from the outside world and reconnects with herself. She moved to LA twelve years ago to attend USC and pursue acting alongside yoga and wellness. She teaches to inspire others to push beyond mental limits and find a practice that sparks freedom and empowerment, then take it off the mat into everything. Happiest flowing, at the beach, travelling, and sipping her morning coffee.

How much do I pay today?
A $700 deposit per person holds your room. The balance is due 60 days before departure, and we email you a reminder with a secure payment link.
Which airport do I fly into?
San Salvador (SAL). Airport transport to and from Mizata is included in every package.
I'm a beginner. Is this for me?
Yes. Remi and Jess meet you where you are. Past groups have ranged from first-timers to advanced practitioners, and every practice is optional.
Can I book a double if I'm travelling solo?
Choose a double package, register yourself, and ask for a roommate match in the notes. Shared rooms need every guest registered to confirm, so we pair solo travellers as they book.
Is surfing included?
Surf lessons are an onsite add-on at Mizata, booked and paid at the resort. Boards and instructors are right on the beach.
Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable, which is why we ask you to carry trip insurance. If you need to transfer your place to a friend, get in touch and we will help.
