8-Day Morocco Yoga Retreat
Vibrant culture by day, desert-and-mountain stillness by night.
From $4,233 per person · full payment at booking · book by Oct 6
About the retreat
Every day begins with an energizing yoga flow and, when the day allows, closes with a restorative practice. Journey to the heart of Morocco for a retreat that blends vibrant culture with serene desert and mountain stillness. You begin in enchanting Marrakech, where colorful souks, ancient riads and aromatic spices awaken your senses, and you practice outside on the terrace each morning.
From the Red City you venture into the vast Atlas Mountains, where a traditional Kasbah waits beneath endless starlit skies. These high-walled Berber fortresses are communal by design: shared courtyards, hammams and wide terraces, with rooms for three and four guests. Rustic, immersive and unforgettable, it is the part of this trip we know you will hold in your heart.
Then the mountains give way to the coast and the vibrant city of Essaouira. Here you settle into a beautiful hotel right on the beach, ride camels along the shore, explore the UNESCO-listed medina and practice on the sand or the terrace. Reconnect through daily yoga and meditation, savor nourishing Moroccan cuisine, and find stillness in the rhythm of the land. This is more than a retreat. It is a soulful adventure into beauty, balance and wonder.
Retreat highlights
Marrakech, the High Atlas and the Atlantic coast, sequenced so each place resets the last: city energy, mountain quiet, then sea air.
Morning flows on riad and Kasbah terraces, restorative evenings overlooking the Imlil valley, and beach practice in Essaouira.
Sleep inside a traditional high-walled fortress under Atlas stars, with courtyards, hammams and terraces shared with your group.

Daily breakfasts of local foods and group dinners, including a farewell night at a vibrant restaurant in Marrakech.
Day by day
Our local representative meets you outside the airport near baggage claim for a private transfer to the Jaal Riad Resort. Settle in, explore your new surroundings, then meet your group for a welcome dinner in the hotel restaurant.
A fresh breakfast of local foods and an energizing yoga flow, then a guided tour of the Red City: the 14-hectare Menara Gardens and their 12th-century pond, the Koutoubia minaret (twin of Seville's Giralda), the Bahia Palace with its inverted-ship ceiling, the souks, and Jemaa el-Fna square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Restorative flow if time allows, then a group dinner.
Breakfast and an energizing flow before the 1.5-hour drive through olive groves and Berber villages to Imlil, a tranquil village at the foot of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m). Check in to your mountain lodge, enjoy welcome tea and a light lunch, then a short guided walk through nearby villages and tea with a local Berber family. Evening restorative yoga on the terrace above the valley. Dinner and overnight in Imlil.
An early energizing practice surrounded by mountain views, then breakfast at the lodge. A guided hike explores the Imlil valley through terraced fields, walnut groves and small waterfalls. Picnic lunch, then free time: book a village hammam (highly recommended, not included). Optional restorative practice, group dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive toward the Atlantic coast and the laid-back seaport of Essaouira (about 4.5 to 5 hours). Check in to your charming beachfront hotel, then walk the ramparts, feel the sea breeze or relax at a café overlooking the port. Group dinner at the hotel.
A slow morning with optional yoga on the beach or terrace, then breakfast. Explore the UNESCO-listed medina, artisan workshops and colorful markets before heading to the shore for a camel ride along the beach. Tonight's dinner is a festive affair at a restaurant in town.
After breakfast, return to Marrakech (about 3 hours) and check back in to the Jaal Riad Resort for a free day. Book a spa treatment (not included) or shop for last-minute gifts. A final restorative practice leads into the farewell dinner, where the group gathers in gratitude for a week of transformation.
Breakfast, a last look at the Red City and your group transfer to Marrakech airport (RAK). Take the stillness home with you.
