Dr. Kim and Dr. Makuta lead an interactive lecture and sound-healing workshop at Sound Bird Center in Mar Vista on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 3 to 5 p.m.

The session looks at the nature and power of music, why it deserves our attention and how sound can be used for healing. Participants practise specific sounds traditionally associated with physical, mental and spiritual well-being, including ones used to activate or harmonize the chakras and the internal organs.

Tickets are $44, and the workshop has 20 spots.
