Sunset Yoga with Livwell Playa

A free 50-minute outdoor flow on the turf at RUNWAY Playa Vista, led by Livwell Playa. New October dates: Mondays at 6 p.m. on 5, 12, 19 and 26 October.

RUNWAY Playa Vista puts this on outdoors on the turf, and it is free. It began as a short September series on Monday evenings, and the organizer has added four more Mondays, now at 6 p.m. to catch the earlier sunset:

  • Monday, 5 October
  • Monday, 12 October
  • Monday, 19 October
  • Monday, 26 October

It is led by Livwell Playa, a yoga studio opening at RUNWAY across from Joliet, which is what the series is really for, a look at the teaching before the doors open. The session is 50 minutes, billed for all levels, and you bring your own mat. Registering adds you to RUNWAY’s and Livwell Playa’s email lists.

Worth knowing: turf is more forgiving than sand but less so than a sprung floor, and an evening class in Playa Vista sits close enough to the coast that the temperature drops once the sun goes. A layer for savasana is the usual advice.

Because it is a series on one Eventbrite listing, check which date you are registering for at the organizer’s page. The dates selector is on their side, not ours.

MyLAyoga does not run this event and takes no booking. The link goes straight to the organizer.
