UCLA Mindful and the Hammer Museum run a free, half-hour meditation every Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in the museum’s Billy Wilder Theater. After a run of online-only sessions on 3, 10 and 17 September, it is back in the room: UCLA Mindful’s calendar lists in-person sessions on 8, 15, 22 and 29 October and 5 November.

There is nothing to book. The session is not ticketed, attendance is free, and doors open at 12:15 p.m. It is open to people at all levels of experience, so it works as a first try at meditation as well as a weekly habit.

Sessions are led by Diana Winston, Director of UCLA Mindful, with Marvin G. Belzer, Allyson Pimentel and guest teachers. UCLA Mindful pitches it as a chance to meditate weekly or to learn about themes in mindfulness. If you cannot get to Westwood at lunchtime, every session is also streamed live on the Hammer’s program page.

The Hammer runs this every Thursday, so the series continues beyond these dates. Check the organizer’s calendar for later dates and for the teacher leading each week.

MyLAyoga does not run this event and takes no booking. The link goes straight to the organizer.
