Eleven days of Andean ceremony, sacred sound and temple visits, October 15 to 25, 2026.
About the retreat
Ancient Codes of Peru is an eleven-day group journey through the country's sacred sites, hosted by Oliwia Daszkiewicz with Dawid Rakowski, who has lived in Peru for seven years, and the musician Franko Heke. It starts in Cusco on October 15, 2026, spends most of its nights at the RaicesInkas sanctuary in the Sacred Valley, and ends in Lima on October 25 after a flight over the Nazca Lines.
It is a ceremony-led trip rather than a yoga-class retreat. The days are built around an Andean despacho offering, a temazcal, meditation at temple sites, kirtan and medicine music, and a cacao ceremony with ecstatic dance, with visits to Pisac, Ñaupa Iglesia, Machu Picchu and the Paracas museum and an optional afternoon in Ollantaytambo. If you want a daily asana practice, the Sacred Valley yoga week is the better fit.

What the eleven days are built around
Pisac and Ñaupa Iglesia
A hike through the terraces and temples of Pisac to its Intihuatana, and a sitting meditation at Ñaupa Iglesia, a carved stone doorway set into a mountain alcove.
Temazcal
An evening sweat-lodge ceremony: heated stones, steam, drumming and song inside a small dome, followed by integration practice.
Machu Picchu
A night close to Machu Picchu, then a day at the citadel with a hike up Huayna Picchu or to the Temple of the Moon.
Medicine music and ecstatic dance
Kirtan, mantra and sacred sound with Franko Heke, and a cacao ceremony followed by an ecstatic dance set from Dawid Rakowski, who performs as RaQ.
Paracas and the Nazca Lines
A flight to Lima and a drive south to the Paracas museum and its elongated skulls, then a morning flight over the Nazca geoglyphs before a final group dinner in Lima.

Oliwia Daszkiewicz
Journey host
Oliwia leads group journeys to sacred sites, mostly in Egypt and now also in Peru and Bali, and works with people one to one in online sessions that combine coaching and spirituality. On this trip she leads the group intention work and co-hosts the evening ceremonies.
Dawid Rakowski
Guide and musician (RaQ)
Dawid has lived in Peru for seven years, studying Andean and Amazonian traditions, and has guided many groups through the country's sacred sites. He gives an evening talk on Andean rites and deities, and plays the ecstatic dance set as RaQ, the name he has performed under for more than 15 years.
Franko Heke
Musician and ceremonial guide
Franko is a musician and facilitator of Ngāpuhi Māori and Italian descent whose work centres on medicine music, kirtan, mantra and sacred sound. He leads the singing and sound sessions during the journey.

Is this a yoga retreat?
Not in the usual sense. The hosts do not publish a daily yoga-class schedule; the journey is built around ceremony, meditation, sound and visits to sacred sites. If daily asana matters to you, look at the Sacred Valley yoga week, also listed on MyLAyoga.
What does it cost, and how is a place held?
The hosts list €3,999 per person in a shared room. A single room costs extra, and they quote the supplement on request. A €750 deposit reserves a place. Send us an enquiry and we come back with availability and how to pay.
What does the price include?
The hosts publish the program day by day but not a full inclusions list, so we confirm in writing what the price covers (meals, internal flights, entrance fees and the Nazca flight) before you pay anything.
How do I get there from Los Angeles?
Fly LAX to Lima, then on to Cusco, arriving on October 15. The journey ends in Lima on October 25, so book your flight home from Lima rather than from Cusco.
How much altitude is involved?
Cusco sits at about 3,400 m (11,150 ft) and the Sacred Valley at roughly 2,800 to 3,000 m, and the journey starts at the high end. Take the first day slowly, and talk to your doctor about altitude before you travel.
