Yoga mats
Whether you sweat decides between an open-cell and a closed-cell surface before anything else does, and weight decides whether a mat goes to class or stays home. Those two questions, from our Manduka guide, sort the six Manduka mats below.
From Manduka
Prices are Manduka’s own, read from its store on October 16, 2026; a range spans sizes and colours. Check the live price before you buy.
- Manduka PRO Yoga Mat 6mm
Made in Germany since 1997. A closed-cell surface that wipes clean, and a lifetime guarantee.
$125–$164
- PRO Lite Yoga Mat 4.7mm
The same surface as the PRO, thinner and narrower: the one to carry to class.
$108–$124
- GRP Adapt Yoga Mat 5mm
Open-cell, unlike the PRO, PROlite and eKO. It soaks up sweat, so it is the one for hot yoga.
$128–$138
- eKO Yoga Mat 5mm
Natural rubber with a closed-cell top. Grips well dry; it is not the hot-yoga mat.
$114–$124
- eKO Lite Yoga Mat 4mm
The eKO in a thinner, lighter version.
$69–$104
- PRO Travel Yoga Mat 2mm
A foldable PRO to lay over a hotel carpet or a shared studio mat.
$74–$84
